Christ is Both Savior & Judge

CHRIST IS BOTH SAVIOR and JUDGE

Judgment day will be a shocking experience for many church members. They will be mortified when they realize that only those who were faithful unto death will receive the crown of life (Rev. 2:10). Many preachers will be stunned when they learn that worldly success and the praise of men means nothing to the Master (Gal. 1:10). He expects his stewards to be faithful (1 Cor. 4:2). Those who took liberties with the teaching of Christ and laid sordid hands on his blessed church will be filled with fear and trepidation, knowing they must answer to the King whom they have offended. Elders who did not take seriously their duty to protect the flock of God (Heb. 13:17) will tremble. Faithfulness is expected of congregations as well as individuals. Congregations in Ephesus, Sardis, and Laodicea were found wanting by their Lord. He was not interested in their real estate, their attendance, or their programs, but in their faithfulness to His will. Will you be faced with JUDGMENT DAY Surprises?  Only you and your God knows.
