Lola Virginia Bates -- Age 94 of Hendersonville passed away July 20, 2014.

Ms. Bates was a vivacious & vibrant woman who was always on the go. She had a very outgoing personality and had never met a stranger in her life. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Virginia loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a Christian woman who attended church the Goodlettsville Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husbands, John Milton Rose & Hafford V. Bates; son, Milton Steven Rose; 3 sisters; 3 brothers. Survived by her loving son, Murray Rose; sisters, Lovena Lewter, Bertha Matlock & Dora Garrett; several nieces, nephews & extended family members.

A Life Celebration will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday July 23rd at Hendersonville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Nashville National Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00am -- 12:00pm Wednesday at Funeral Home.
