Men and women 55 years old and over may join the Shining Stars.  This group meets once a month, normally the third Thursday of the month at 6 PM, to eat a potluck meal together and to have fellowship.  The varied meals are always finger-licking good.  Fellowship time is spent unhurriedly, chatting, doing puzzles, playing dominos or whatever small groups like to do.

To join the Shining Stars, you do not have to be a member of the George Street church.  There are no fees either... just bring your favorite dish.  However, we will be glad to let you come the first time without bringing anything, just to check us out.  If you try it, you'll like it. The meetings are held at the fellowship hall at 118 George Street but when the weather gets nice we also meet in parks.  For information call 304-684-7811.
