The George Street church is a local body of Christ.  We know we are saved by his grace and not by our own efforts. But we also realize that God created us anew to do good works (Ephesians 2:4-10).  Our prayer is that we may glorify the Lord by all we do and say.

We are a friendly group of folks who welcome visitors with open arms.  We believe in reaching out to others to allow them to enjoy the same blessings of salvation in Christ as we do.

Our organization and worship is New Testamental.  We believe that God leads us to please and obey him by his Spirit through his inspired Word.
