Nathaniel Miller, Youth Minister

I have been a member of the Church of Christ for my entire life and a member at George Street for the past 11 years. I feel very fortunate for having been raised in the church and consider all of the church members family.

I have served as a teacher for various youth classes in the past, prior to attending graduate school at Ohio University in Athens. I had recently transferred from a Master of Science track to a Doctor of Philosophy track at OU when I felt compelled to begin working with the youth at George Street. I currently reside with my wife Elizabeth in Marietta, Oh and commute to Athens to attend my graduate classes.

Elizabeth and I feel as if the Lord was pointing us in the direction of George Street. Having been a member there for some time, I have a connection with the youth of the church that can only be formed through over a decade of youth activities, church services, and classes. We are here to serve the church, but ultimately answer to our Lord Jesus Christ and try to glorify Him with all that we do, including serving as organizers of the Youth Ministry program at George Street.

My purpose as the Youth Minister is to serve the church and Father to the best of my abilities and to act as an example to the youth of the church. I constantly pray that God will guide my thoughts in such a way as to provide our youth with engaging, fun, and spiritually fulfilling activities. My ultimate goal is not only to provide entertainment for our present youth and try to lead them to the Lord, but also to teach them to be disciples of Christ so that THEY may lead others to Christ as well.
