Campaigns for Christ in India

Why is the American Evangelist Needed in India?

The British first took the Gospel to India, thus many Indians consider foreigners from Europe or America as angels of God.  This opens doors for us to preach Gospel & shows great respect most Indians have for missionaries.  We substantiate what the local preacher has been teaching to his audiences - often for years.  Working together we are reaping a great harvest of souls in India.  These truly are the most receptive people to the Gospel anywhere in the world today.  The reason is found in Acts 17:11 - they have a readiness of mind to study the Scriptures.

While it is true that the Indian brethren are doing the bulk of the work, there is a definite place for American workers in India & this must not be taken lightly.  The respect Indian people have for the American evangelists gives tremendous weight to what we say.  This is a sobering responsibility - one we do not take lightly (James 3:1).  Will you help us take the Gospel to the Indian people?

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
"My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation."
