The Sayre church of Christ believes that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, perfect Word of God. We believe that God's Word contains everything we need to live this life in a way that is pleasing to our Father in Heaven.  God's Word teaches us how to become a Christian, how to live as a Christian,  how to worship God in ways that please Him, and how to grow in our relationship with Him and with others.

The Bible teaches that a Christian is a sinner, who through faith in Jesus, has repented of their sins, confessed that faith in Jesus, and has been baptized for the forgiveness of those sins. When one is baptized into Christ, they have not only received forgiveness of sins, but the Lord adds them to His Church and they are given the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38,41,47)  At that point we begin a life long walk with God!   Our goal is to continue to walk in the light as Jesus is in the light, so that we can reflect Jesus to all those that come into contact with us on a daily basis!
