Purpose
It is our desire to pattern our worship and our lives after the commands and examples found in the New Testament.(1 Pet 2:21) We strive to understand God's word, as it was intended when it was written, and apply to our lives today. We do not want to take away from his word or to add to it.(Rev 22:18-19) It is our desire to live our lives for Jesus since He died for us. (2 Cor 5:15)
"And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."
"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:" "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:" "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
