Purpose

Imagine stepping back in time almost two thousand years. This is what you'll find when you worship with the church of Christ. Our aim is to restore the order and pristine beauty of the New Testament Church in its Worship, Doctrine and Work. We are determined to be known as simply "New Testament Christians."

Our worship is simple... but very meaningful. On the first day of the week (Acts 20:7), we come together to partake of the Lord's Supper (Mt. 26:26ff; Acts 2:42), to pray and sing together (1 Tim 2:8; 1 Jno 5:14-16; Eph 5:19; Col 3:16), to make a free-will contribution (1 Cor 16:1,2), and to praise God in encouraging each other through study and preaching of His Word (Mark 16:15, 16; 2 Tim 4:1-5).

As the apostles, through the Holy Spirit, taught and wrote down the message of truth, we faithfully follow the New Testament as the new covenant of Jesus Christ. It teaches that we must hear God's message of salvation (Rom 10:17) and obey the truth (John 17:17; John 8:32).

Using the Bible as our only rule of faith, we teach that men must believe in Jesus Christ as God's son (John 8:24), repent of their sins (Luke 13:3), confess Christ (Acts 8:37), and be immersed in water unto the remission of sin (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:15, 16).
