Church
The church was designed by God as His eternal purpose
to redeem man back to himself. (Ephesians 3:11)
The church was prophesied about throughout the Old Testament
in the Law and the Prophets. (Daniel 2, Joel 2)
The church is made up of those who have a saved
relationship with Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:5)
Those in the church are disciples of Christ and strive to
imitate Jesus. (Matthew 28:19)
The church works to build up its members and to make sure
all are equipped to work as part of the body of believers. (Ephesians 4:11-14)
The church is to glorify God in all it does. (1 Corinthians
10:31)
The church as the body of Christ is a refuge for those who abide
in Him. (John 15:1-5)
