It seems to be popular these days to have a bailout. Car companies and banks struggle so we bail them out, and the list goes on. We all need a bailout plan. Man’s greatest problem is sin and the separation from God to which that leads (Isaiah 59:1-2). Man alone cannot fix the problem, but Jesus paid the price for us so that you and I can be bailed out of our sin problem (Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 2:2). How do we respond to this grace so we can be found in Christ and out of our sins (Galatians 3:26-28)? First, we must hear the word of God (Romans 10:17). Next, we must decide if we believe the word of God (Acts 16:30-31). Then, we must decide if we are willing to leave our sins (repent) (Acts 17:30-31), and confess a new Lord in our life (Romans 10:9-10). Next, we must be baptized (baptized means immersed) for the forgiveness of our sins (Acts 2:38). Finally, we must live faithfully to the Lord (1 John 1:7). Praise God! All the steps of salvation are important because all the steps are commanded by God. Come worship with us and learn more about God’s spiritual bailout.
