GOD'S Character John 17:26 KJVS [26] And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it : that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (By declaring HIS name, the love wherewith HE loved CHRIST will be in us)1jn.3:14
////1-what is mans most important need - redemption, salvation from sin ////2-what is a christians most important need, faithfulness Something to help us accomplish this is an understanding of GOD'S qualities. A greater understanding of GOD'S perfect nature, and love for us, encourages us not to sin against HIM and to live faithful.
////Hebrews 11:6 KJV [6] But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
2 Peter 3:18 KJV [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. ......
////2 Corinthians 10:15 KJV [15] ........when your faith is increased,......
////Romans 10:17 KJV [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

////Will a better understanding of GOD'S personality, attributes, make you believe, convince you, persuade you to loose the inhibitions and to give GOD all your heart. No pet sin, and worldliness, no rebellion and refusing to obey in areas of your life only you know of.
////This surfaces a need we all have, to have rock solid faith that is alive. This need can begin to be fulfilled by following something JESUS said.
Matthew 11:29 KJV [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; ....... as we learn more about GOD we will love HIM more by understanding how HE is perfect and loves us. HE is not out to get us.
More about JESUS would i know, 710
HE says "Learn of me." Have you noticed when you understand someone's character you judge them by that character. Pick someone right now that you know really well, they are a close friend, you know that they are balanced, fair and righteous, but they are accused of a dreadful thing. What's the first thing you do, you have faith in the character they have always portrayed. You believe the terrible news to be false.
Wouldn't this work with GOD. Instead of blaming GOD for bad things that happen, instead of blaming GOD for our loneliness, or accusing HIM wrongly when things turn out different than we want, remember HIS character, and know that HE is always faithful.
We are developing a relationship with GOD, an understanding of GOD, as we prepare ourselves for heaven. The more of HIS character we know the more we unwaveringly trust HIM. We see a flawless character that always does what is for the benefit of our greatest need. Who never changes HIS character, is always a friend at hand, not far away. How do we learn of HIM, HE reveals HIMSELF to us, in one and only one way, let's see HIS autobiography.

Horror/fear -lack of temperance -ignorance
Now put these details about GOD into a single sentence.
GOD is perfect and has your best interest in mind in all things
Emulation - be like HIM 2peter3:9 .....but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Preparing for heaven
Control ourselves in all things so we will not sin against HIM in anything - temperance
GOD first wants us saved HE will judge because HE has to, HE is just.
Glorification - Praise HIM and Thank HIM
Communication - teach others so they may have hope
Give up the cynical idea that: everything is flawed GOD is not flawed, what great confidence that gives us, what wonderful trust in HIM
HE is waiting to condemn me (suspicious-we behave a certain way and judge GOD to me the same as us.) (Condemn ourself)
GOD is perfect and has your best interest in mind in all things
How do I put these truths into practice
Took We have head knowledge of HIS perfect behavior, HIS flawless character, how do we make it heart knowledge, put it to practice. (Took) Leap with all your heart.
GOD is perfect I can put the full weight of my trust on HIM I long for HIM to wrap HIS arms around me and keep me safe spiritually. And that is exactly what HE does if i want HIM to, but that includes obedience, HE is sovereign. We do not grow out of the need to be loved, we just harden ourselves to protect our heart or act like we are grown, or buffer our behavior because we know that we deliberately sin. But with GOD we can be children again, and long for GOD to pick us up when we get skinned up, take us in HIS arms and hug and hold us. Isn't it a joy to be loved. GOD loves us with that tender care as we are little children.
That is the confidence we gain by seeing HIS qualities. Full total surrender and confidence, GOD will not fail me or leave me.
This is the confidence in GOD some had, they understood HIS character, it's who HE is. Noah, build a vessel the length of football field and a half. Do you really believe, walk thru he Red Sea. Do you want to survive the night, put blood on your door post. Want to be free of leprosy, dip in a dirty river. How much do we know of GODs qualities to trust HIM with all our heart and will.
Isaiah 57:15 KJV [15] For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place , with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV [24] .........So run, that ye may obtain.
What is your perception of GOD Judge Shepherd Critical Guide/ teacher
How is your relationship with GOD
how do we put this into application GOD has your best interest in all things. HE is: all powerful all knowing Judge shepherd Friend Redeemer
No one can make you love GOD, by learning of HIS wonderful character, clear thinking would propel us to love HIM.
no one can make you go to heaven. Heaven is yours only if you want it. (This is not the real reason to long for heaven, it is to go and be with The One who loves us so much.) You have to want it as much as you want air.
Judgement is not to decide our fate. We are deciding that today. Day by day
Today get up and remember that GOD loves me It does not end there, I love GOD and obey HIM
100% - 100% relationship GOD loves us 100% Do I, we love GOD 100%
Psalm 57:1 [1] Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

1 Corinthians 1:9 KJV [9] God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Isaiah 40:28-29 KJVS [28] Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. [29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
