Message - Re: The circumstances of our birth Posted By Matthew Cruise on 1/16/2005 10:30:00 PM - Subscribe to this discussion here - Subscribe

You are correct, God, in his eternal power and wisdom, has determined (is aware before it occurs), when all men are to be born; this includes those who are born out of wedlock. It is not "OK" to have children if you are not married, (I know that you know this), because He created Adam and Eve, who were put together by God, (Married), and one of the things that they were commanded to do, is have children.

God cannot stop knowing, simply because a person or people decide to disobey Him. No sex is "OK" outside of marriage.

In Acts 17, the Apostle Paul is preaching to a group of people who were not worshiping the true and living God. That God created all things, and He has the ability to determine the times concerning mankind, whether the act is sinful or in accordance with His will. To further show God's power, Paul informs them that God is the one who determines where you will be born, your nationality, and yes even the time you will be born. Your friends at works have made a common mistake, they have taken the scripture out of context, and have not rightly divided them.

Our God has the power to appoint when we are born, where we are born, how we are born and when we die. Thenk God that He is alive, and not some image that man has created in his mind.
