Leah Sellers, Children's Minister

Leah and her husband Jared have served our congregation since their youth. They have two pretty awesome kids in elementary school, and an ornery & energetic husky named Max. For our body, Leah coordinates "Growing God's Kingdom," our Sunday School ministry for children from birth through 5th grade. She teaches our Wee Praise children's worship, and encourages our kids, teachers, and nursery workers. Leah also directs MC After School, a community tutoring ministry that partners with the local school district and is hosted at our building. She is currently a teacher at Wee Kare Preschool, after directing our Sonshine School preschool ministry for 9 years. Leah also enjoys writing and serves as the community editor for Part&Parcel magazine, a quarterly publication focused on missional hospitality. Jared serves as our Deacon of Communication and is one of our song leaders. Together they serve at Camp Wabashi, a Christian youth summer camp in Terre Haute, IN. They are also both active in coaching community sports.
