There is a hidden substance
Down deep in your soul.
It's the extremely wise one
That shows you the way to go.
Conscience is the special word
That we have given to this one.
It can search out your heart
To let you know what you've done.
This can be a special friend
Or the worse enemy to you.
It's will depend on how you train it,
And if you follow it so true.
This friend will advise you
About what is right from wrong
And the conscience will sing loud
Like a bird that has a song.
Let your conscience be your guide
And treat it as kind as can be.
Fill it with wisdom from above,
Then you'll be able to see.
Can you speak at this very hour
What Paul once did say,
"I have lived in all good conscience
Before God until this day?"

A story was written
For the world to believe,
The beginning of miracles
In Cana of Galilee.
Jesus went to a marriage.
We all have read,
"They have no wine,"
Is what His mother said."
Jesus was reluctant
To fulfill their needs,
For His hour
Had not come to be.
To please His mother
The pots were filled,
With water to the brim
Was the Lord's will.
