School of Preaching in Africa (The church has sponsored this work for a multitude of years.)

 

Sermon Tract Ministry: Each sermon that is preached from the pulpit is also available in a tract. There are 300 available at this time.

 

Magazine Ministry: We collect  magazines from our members and donate them to the local medical clinics and doctors' offices, so that the patients can have something to occupy their time.  A label is placed on the front of each magazine that says, "Donated by the Vidalia Church of Christ."

 

New Family Bureau (We send a packet of information to any person who moves to the city of Vidalia.)

 

Nursing Home Ministry: We give small knickknacks, lotion, paper & pencil sets; sugarless candies etc to the residents as gifts.

 

Card & Prayer Ministry: We accept prayer requests from many different locations and each member is given a list each week of those requests.  Beside each name is a small box, so a member can put a check mark, when he (or she) has prayed for that person or sent them a card.

 

Cassette Tape Ministry: All of the sermons are taped each Sunday and are available for the asking free of charge.  We also keep a back log of all tapes in the church library, so that one can go back in time and find a particular sermon.
