Things God wont do

Things God Won't Do

Selected and adapted

God won't get tired " Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding"  (Isaiah 40:28).

God won't take on a job He can't handle. "Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee"  (Jeremiah 32:17).

God won't be unholy. "And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory" (Isaiah 6:3).

God won't be prejudiced. "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him"  (Acts 10:34-35).

God won't break a promise. "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.  (Psalm 89:34)"

God won't remember sins He has chosen to forget. "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins"  (Isaiah 43:25).

God won't abandon you. "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee"  (Deuteronomy 31:6).

God won't stop thinking about you. "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee" (Psalm 139:17-18).

God won't stop loving you. "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee"  (Jeremiah 31:3).

God won't lie. "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began" (Titus 1:2).

God won't allow us to be tempted above what we are able to bear. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it"  (1 Corinthians 10:13).
