Purpose

The Norco Church of Christ is a family of Christians who worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. We have no sectarian organization, no denominational name, and no human doctrines or creeds.  We take the Bible alone, and preach the same message that the apostles did in the book of Acts.

Our worship service consists of those activities authorized in the Bible for Christians. On the first day of every week (Acts 10:7) the Lord's Supper is celebrated (I Corinthians 11:24-34). God is praised by singing (Colossians 3:16), the congregation worships in prayer (I Corinthians 14:15), and God's Word is the basis for all teaching (Acts 2:42). Each member gives as he has purposed in his heart (I Corinthians 16:1-2, II Corinthians 9:7).

We believe and teach the full message of the crucified and risen Lord as recorded in the Bible. We urge all to accept God's free gift of eternal life. God's grace, in Christ, includes a plan for forgiveness of sins, involving repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord (Acts 20:21), confession of Jesus as Lord and Christ, the Son of God (Romans 10:9-10, Matthew 10:32-33), and baptism by full immersion (Acts 2:38, 22:16), followed by a life of faithful service to Christ and to our fellow man (John 13:34-35, Romans 12:1-2). We want to encourage everyone to obey God and we consider it a joy to help and be of service.
