Monday, March 23, 2009 7:00 PM EST Aboard American Airlines Flight 153

We are in the air 36000 ft just past Alaska close to the International Date Line over the Bering Sea. We have flown about 4000 miles since leaving Chattanooga this morning and have about 4600 to go! 

We left Trenton this morning at 430 AM with Charles Hill serving as driver to take us to the airport and bring Jamie home after we left. 

We were on a small jet out of Chattanooga that was full and we got to Chicago and ate breakfast during a 4 hour layover before getting on AA 153 to head to Tokyo. 

We are now over Siberia and turning south.  The flight has been uneventful but we have been blessed.  The plane was packed and there is just one empty seat---next to Laurie!  So sleeping has been OK.  It is a long flight and it has gotten turbulent now but Laurie and I are

excited to have the opportunity to be here and blessed to have folks like many of you who have helped in this work!
