Tom Boyette (Nashville) - May 13, 2020

Wilburn Thomas Boyette, age 66, passed away May 13, 2020. He was the minister for the Pennington Bend Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tom is the son of the late Wilburn Boyette Jr. and the late Ora Kathryn Bray Boyette. He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Haris Boyette and granddaughter, Camdyn Blake McDowell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jo Ann McCaleb Boyette. His children: Jennifer (Cale) Crouse, Thomas (Penny) Boyette and Susan (Adam) McDowell. Siblings: Belinda (Dickie) Wheeler, Vicki Roberts, Darryl (Elizabeth) Boyette and David (Sylvana) Boyette. Grandchildren: Trey Boyette, Alexis Crouse, Wyatt Boyette, Bray Crouse, Ansley McDowell, Kylie Boyette, and Haidyn McDowell.

Tom served in the United States Air Force right after graduating from Miami Palmetto High School in Miami, Florida. He met and married the love of his life while attending Freed Hardeman University. He was the proud father of four children and eight grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and cherished every moment they spent together. He was a faithful and humble servant of God. He preached the gospel for over 40 years bringing many souls to Christ.

A graveside service for Tom will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the
Pennington Bend Church of Christ, 2801 McGavock Pike, Nashville, Tennessee, 37214.
