It's really not about earthly victory!

If you talk to the folks who have been involved with Bible Bowl for years you will hear a consistent theme, "It's not really about winning.  It is about studying, growing and becoming closer as brothers and sisters."  Often times when considering whether, or not, to participate a congregation will hesitate because they are uncomfortable with Bible Bowl being about competition.  Let me assure it is not!  Sure, on some level everyone wants to win but this banner is not the focus.  Preparing our young people for lives based in God's Word has always been, and will always be, the goal.  It doesn't matter if your congregation's young folks are Bible scholars or if they just need to start their learning journey the Rutherford County Bible Bowl is a great way to get them involved and moving forward in their Christian development.
