Tim Perkins has been the minister for the Center Church of Christ since November 1, 2000. He began preaching at a young age and has been preaching the gospel for over half a century. Tim is a 3rd generation preacher of the gospel following in the footsteps of both his father and his grandfather.
He and his wife Norma have been married 44 years and make their home in Center. They have two sons and two grandsons. Their son Bryant is married to Abbey, they make their home in Liberty, Texas, where Bryant preaches for the Liberty Church of Christ and Abbey teaches kindergarten at San Jacinto Elementary school in Liberty. Their other son Matt and his wife Ryan along with their grandsons Mason and Hudson make their home in Bullard, Texas. Matt coaches varsity football and teaches at Bullard High School in Bullard, while Ryan stays home with young Mason and Hudson and places exchange students and is a private tutor.
